Vintage Embroidered Patch - 1981 Columbia Space Shuttle Launch

STS-1 (Space Transportation System-1) was the first orbital spaceflight of NASA's Space Shuttle program. The first orbiter, Columbia, launched on April 12, 1981, carrying a crew of two. It returned to Earth safely after 54.5 hours.

This embroidered patch commemorates the launch of Columbia in 1981. It has bright blue, navy, red, yellow, and black colours. In great condition, has not been previously stitched on.
