This poster was created for the launch of "Metropolitan Flowers," which the Metropolitan Museum Of Art released in 1982. The artwork on this poster is one of the panels from Irises at Yatsuhashi by Ogata Kōrin (Japan, 1658–1716). The original 12' panels are in the Met's collection.
Condition Notes: This is a brass & glass frame that has some damage at the bottom. The glass has cracks as pictured (stable and not sharp to the touch). The print has a water damage line that is so consistent that it almost becomes part of the artwork itself. Price heavily reflects! Dimensions: approx. 43" x 16"
