This vintage Baribocraft pepper mill and salt shaker set is made of Canadian maple with a mid-tone stain. The adjustable grinder works well. In beautiful condition with some wear, see condition notes below.
Baribeau & Fils produced beautiful wooden kitchenware in Montreal, Quebec in the 1960s. Baribocraft was their line of products destined for consumers, while Baribo-maid was designed for use in commercial kitchens, such as restaurants or hotels. The company unfortunately ceased production in the 1970s.
Condition Notes: The finish on these pieces is worn and some areas are back to original wood. They have been cleaned thoroughly and oiled and are ready for use in the kitchen. Maintain the condition by oiling regularly. The rubber salt shaker stopper has dried and shrunk, I have replaced it with a good quality cork stopper. See all photos for details. Price reflects!
